The scandal that keeps on giving: FBI claims it “LOST” months of text messages belonging to disgraced anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok

When the complete (and unbiased) history is written on President Barack Obama’s administration, future generations of Americans will come to learn that his was the most corrupt in the country’s history.

Forget Teapot Dome. Forget Watergate. Forget Bill Clinton’s sexual proclivities. Barack Obama has them all beaten, and by a wide margin.

Because, for all the world, it appears as though Barack Obama took over a Deep State apparatus that was assembled long before 9/11, but weaponized by his predecessor, George W. Bush, against the American people in the years afterward.

The FBI, once heralded the world over as one of democracy’s greatest law enforcement creations, was reduced to the role of political enabler during the Obama years. Led by Attorney General Eric Holder, a far-Left sycophant who lied to the Senate Judiciary Committee by hiding the fact that he stuck up for Islamic terrorists, the Justice Department and FBI — along with intelligence community operatives — colluded to thwart Donald J. Trump’s presidency.

In recent months we discovered that top FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok had a particular anti-Trump, pro-Hillary Clinton bias. We learned that he and others within the FBI and Department of Justice discussed an “insurance policy” that would keep Trump out of office or so undermined during his time in office as to render him ineffective.

In recent days, we learned that the Justice Department finally turned over scores of text messages sent or received by Strzok to Congress, which had been requesting them for some time. But then we also learned that the highly technologically sophisticated Federal Bureau of Investigation somehow, some way, “lost” five months’ worth of Strzok texts.

Five months worth. Gee — wonder where they went? And more importantly, we wonder what they would reveal were they to suddenly ‘show up.’

The timeframe for the texts delivered to Congress from late winter/spring/early summer of 2016, about the time the two eventual presidential nominees were being decided. So this is interesting in that, given all we know about Strzok’s distinct bias against Trump and the “insurance policy” discussion, it certainly seems like the FBI and Justice Department are continuing to hide damning evidence that the Obama administration was dirty, dirty, dirty. (Related: Here’s the man who outed Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok.)

On Monday one of President Trump’s personal lawyers, Jay Sekulow, laid out the timeline for the missing emails, which date from sometime in December 2016 through May 17, 2017 — the day that Robert Mueller was named special counsel to investigate bogus claims of “Trump-Russia collusion.”

During his radio show, Jay Live, Sekulow said, “Guess what is missing? That is the key here…guess what’s missing?”

He said: “From December 14th, 2016 to May 17th, 2017 — here’s what’s going on,” he continued. “You had the [former national security advisor Michael] Flynn conversation with the senior transition officials as has been reported in the press, so there are conversations about that — missing.

Buzzfeed publishes the [former British spy Christopher] Steele dossier January 11th, 2017 — text messages between the two are missing,” Sekulow continued.

“Peter Strzok interviews Michael Flynn on January 24th, 2017, the text messages between them are missing. [Then-FBI Director James] Comey is fired by the president of the United States May 9th, 2017, their text messages are missing,” the Trump attorney said.

“Robert Mueller Special Counsel appointed May 17, 2017 — text messages missing based on a glitch,” he said.

Those were all very significant events in the timeline of the Trump presidency thus far. And given Strzok’s involvement in the Clinton email investigation and the fact that he interviewed Flynn, it’s a sure bet Congress would want to know what he had to say about those events.

Because you know he would have texted about those events.

Sekulow says what the FBI allegedly has done amounts to “willful destruction of evidence.” For us, the FBI’s role in all of this is the scandal that keeps on giving.
